A sad road accident in Ogun State has taken the lives of four well-known gospel ministers, including popular singer Evangelist Ayodeji David, also known as Kekere Jesu. The other victims were Evangelist Iyanu Joseph, Opeyemi Adesina, and Monjolajesu Oluwapamilerin.

The accident happened along the Ikorodu–Sagamu Road when the ministers were on their way to a church program. According to the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), the vehicle they were in crashed with another car. It was a strong collision, and all four of them died instantly.

Reports say that the accident involved many vehicles and sadly claimed more than 24 lives. The FRSC believes that speeding and low visibility were the main reasons for the crash.

According to The Nation Newspaper, Kekere Jesu and his senior brother’s wife have already been buried. His personal assistant’s body was taken to Ado-Ekiti for burial, and his late fiancée’s body was sent to her family for final rites.

This is a big loss to the gospel music community and to all who loved their ministry.
