Lere Olayinka, the spokesperson for Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), has denied rumours going around online that Wike suffered a partial stroke and is limping.

Recently, some social media users posted a video of Wike at a public event, claiming he was limping. This led to speculations about his health.

To respond, Olayinka posted a video on X (formerly Twitter) showing Wike playing table tennis at the home of Senator Barry Mpigi. The video showed the Minister moving around easily, hitting the ball, and clearly looking healthy and active.

By sharing this video, Wike’s team hopes to end the rumours and show that the Minister is doing just fine.
