The Niger State Police Command has welcomed a new Commissioner of Police, Adamu Abdullahi Elleman. He officially resumed duty, taking over from AIG Shawulu Ebenezer Danmamman, who was recently promoted and transferred.
Elleman is the 38th Commissioner of Police in Niger State. The police command assured the public that he is committed to improving security, enforcing the law, and reducing crime as part of the year’s Action Plan. The command also called for public support to achieve these goals.
With 31 years of service, Elleman brings a wealth of experience to the role. He is from Kaugama in Jigawa State and holds law degrees from Ahmadu Bello University and the Nigerian Law School.
Over the years, he has worked in legal, investigative, and leadership positions. He has also received special training in Nigeria, the UK, the US, and South Africa.
The people of Niger State can expect strong leadership from Elleman as he works to make the state safer.
