Sir Paul Chukwuma, a leading aspirant for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Anambra State, has expressed confidence that the party is in a strong position to win the upcoming governorship election on November 8, 2025.
Speaking on TVC’s current affairs program on March 25, Chukwuma stated that APC’s growing influence in Anambra will bring a major shift in the state’s political landscape. He believes the party will provide better leadership when it takes office on March 17, 2026.
Chukwuma is also optimistic about winning the APC primary election on April 5. He attributes his confidence to strong grassroots support, which he says is a result of his efforts in strengthening the party in Anambra over the past three years.
The aspirant highlighted the challenges facing Anambra, particularly in education and security. He argued that the Catholic and Anglican churches have been responsible for quality education in the state, while public schools have been neglected. He dismissed claims that the government played a major role in the state’s high education rankings.
On security, Chukwuma emphasized that many of Anambra’s problems are local issues that should be handled by the state government. If elected, he promised to tackle insecurity with decisive actions.
Chukwuma urged the people of Anambra to support APC in the upcoming election, stating that now is the right time to embrace change. He believes that with APC in power, the state will experience better governance and development.
