Heartland FC are looking for a change in fortune as they prepare to face Sunshine Stars in their Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) matchday 31 game.

The team, also known as the Naze Millionaires, have struggled recently, failing to win any of their last six matches. Their latest disappointment came last weekend when they lost 1-0 to Abia Warriors at home.

This poor run of form has pushed them into the relegation zone, making their upcoming match even more important. Ahead of the game, Heartland turned to social media, posting on Facebook, “We pray for the sun to shine brightly on us at the abode of Sunshine Stars.”

Heartland will take on Sunshine Stars at the Otunba Dipo Dina Stadium in Ijebu-Ode today (Wednesday), hoping for a much-needed victory.
