Goodnews Fakae, a gym instructor from Port Harcourt, Rivers State, has been missing since March 2024.

Human rights activist Harrison Gwamnishu revealed that Goodnews was the gym instructor for Andrew Ochekwo, a suspected organ harvester. She disappeared in March 2024, and her family gave up the search due to financial constraints. Goodnews’ phone was last tracked to Aba, Abia State, where Andrew lived before his death. A post about her on Andrew’s social media page was deleted after she went missing.

Goodnews’ sister reported her disappearance to Woji Police Station in Port Harcourt but could not continue the search because of high costs. They tracked Goodnews’ phone to Aba.

Goodnews, known as @instructor_goody on Instagram, had previously tagged Andrew Ochekwo in a post, which has since been removed from her account.

Harrison Gwamnishu is urging the Nigeria Police Force and Rivers State Police Command to help find Goodnews.

Anyone with information about Goodnews’ whereabouts is urged to come forward.

Andrew Ochekwo was under investigation for the disappearance of two friends, Celine and Afiba, who traveled from Port Harcourt to Aba. He was killed by police while trying to escape arrest.
