Adamawa United, a team in the Nigeria National League (NNL), have received approval to use Makwada Stadium in Numan for their home games. The Adamawa State Government announced this through its special assistant, George Kushi, on social media.
The stadium has been recently upgraded, and the government believes it will motivate players to perform better this season. Both Adamawa United and Nigeria Women’s Football League side, Adamawa Queens, will play their home matches at the new stadium.
Previously, Adamawa United played their home games at Pantami Stadium in Gombe State. Now, they will begin their journey at Makwada Stadium with a match against FC Basira.
