Girls who wear outfits exposing their breasts are a disappointment to womanhood and cannot make good mothers – Delta state gov’s aide says

A recent statement by Ossai Success Ovie, an aide to the Delta State governor, has sparked a conversation about women’s dressing and its impact on motherhood.

Ovie shared his thoughts on social media, saying that women who wear outfits exposing their breasts are a “disappointment to womanhood” and may not be good mothers. He even shared a picture of a woman in revealing clothing to support his argument.

His comments have drawn mixed reactions, with some agreeing that modest dressing reflects good values, while others believe clothing choices do not define a woman’s ability to be a good mother.

The debate continues, raising important questions about fashion, cultural values, and personal freedom.

He wrote;

‘’Girls who dress in this manner are a disappointment to womanhood

I am disappointed in this lady for exposing what should be private.

Dear ladies, exposing your bre*sts for the world to see does not make you beautiful.

Instead, it makes you appear cheap and lacking in self-worth.

I do not find ladies like this attractive, as they cannot command my respect.

People like this cannot make good mothers.

I am disappointed”
