The family of the late Pa E.K. Clark has made it clear that no one has the right to arrange his burial without their approval. They warned against individuals or groups seeking support or making funeral plans on their behalf.
In a statement signed by family members Mr. Panaowei Clark, Chief Ebikeme Clark, and Miss Emomotimi Clark, they expressed gratitude for the love and support received from the Federal Government, state governors, cultural groups, and well-wishers after Pa Clark passed away on February 17, 2025.
The family acknowledged Pa Clark’s national importance and agreed that his burial needs careful planning. However, they insisted that all decisions must include them directly. They urged the public not to engage with unauthorized individuals claiming to act on their behalf.
As they continue discussions with key stakeholders to finalize the burial plans, the Clark family asked for patience and cooperation. They also thanked everyone for their continued support during this time.
