I’m pleading with the general public to help me ask my father-in-law to bury my husband – Late Mohbad’s wife Wunmi cries out

Wunmi Aloba, the wife of late Nigerian singer Mohbad, has asked the public to help her convince her father-in-law, Joseph Aloba, to allow her husband’s burial.

Mohbad passed away on September 12, 2023. He was buried the next day, but authorities later exhumed his body for investigation. Since then, his remains have been kept in a mortuary. His father has refused to allow the burial, insisting that a DNA test must first be conducted to confirm the paternity of Mohbad’s son, Liam.

In a post shared on Instagram on March 12, Wunmi expressed her frustration, saying that her husband has been dead for 18 months, yet he has not been laid to rest. She accused her father-in-law of keeping Mohbad’s body in the morgue not out of love or grief, but because of the attention and money he continues to receive from the situation.

She urged the public to help her get justice so that Mohbad can finally rest in peace.
