The police in Lagos State are searching for a man who disappeared after his girlfriend was found dead in his apartment in the Meiran area on February 26.
The woman, identified as Adija, was a graduate of Lagos State University. Her family became worried when they couldn’t reach her on the phone. Since she had told them she was visiting her boyfriend, they decided to check his house.
When they arrived, they found the door locked. After knocking several times without any response, they broke the door open. Inside, they discovered Adija’s lifeless body.
Lagos police spokesperson, CSP Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the case and said officers are working to find the missing boyfriend. The police have assured the public that the suspect will be caught and brought to justice.
