Nigerian travel creator Alma Asinobi eyes world record, to visit all continents in 70 hours

Nigerian travel creator Alma Asinobi has announced her plan to visit all seven continents in just 70 hours. She hopes to break a world record while drawing attention to the challenges African travelers face due to passport restrictions.

Alma’s journey will start in Australia on March 15, 2025, and end in Nigeria. She is using her Nigerian passport to highlight the struggles that people with low-mobility passports experience when applying for visas.

In a video posted on Instagram, Alma shared her motivation for the challenge. She explained that she had to apply for over 10 visas, with two of them being rejected multiple times.

She hopes her journey will inspire others to explore the world while also raising awareness about unfair visa policies affecting African travelers.

The current Guinness World Record for the fastest time to visit all continents is held by two Indian travelers, Ali Irani and Sujoy Kumar Mitra.

They completed their journey in three days, one hour, five minutes, and four seconds. Alma aims to break this record and spark conversations about passport privilege.
