Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has once again called for an end to the war with Russia. On Monday, he stressed the urgent need for peace, saying he is ready to work with the United States and Europe to make it happen.
Zelenskyy shared his thoughts on X, explaining that Ukraine is working closely with its international partners. He emphasized the importance of diplomacy in ending the war as soon as possible.
According to Zelenskyy, Ukrainians are the ones suffering the most from the war. Cities and towns have been destroyed, and many lives have been lost. He believes stopping the war is necessary to ensure Ukraine’s security.
“We need real peace, and Ukrainians want it the most. The war is destroying our country, and we are losing our people. It must end as soon as possible,” he said.
Zelenskyy also highlighted the role of the United States and Europe in helping Ukraine achieve peace. He hopes for strong support from America and its allies in this effort.
Recently, Zelenskyy traveled to the United States and England to seek more support for peace efforts. There were discussions about a possible mineral deal between Ukraine and the US that could have helped move peace talks forward.
However, the deal did not happen due to a heated argument involving Zelenskyy, former US President Donald Trump, and Vice President JD Vance. Despite this setback, Ukraine continues its diplomatic efforts to end the war and secure peace.
