Nigerian televangelist, Apostle Johnson Suleman, has announced that his X (formerly Twitter) account has been hacked. He shared the warning on his official Facebook page on Saturday.
The preacher urged his followers to ignore any posts from his X account until he regains control. He did not provide details about how the hack happened but assured his audience that he would update them once the issue is resolved.
Apostle Suleman, known for his teachings and prophecies, has a large online following. Cyberattacks on public figures’ social media accounts are becoming more common, highlighting the need for online security measures.
For now, his followers are advised to rely on his verified Facebook page for updates.
He wrote,
“URGENT PUBLIC NOTICE My official X account (@ApostleJohnsonSuleman) has been hacked and compromised.
“Please disregard all information from this account until further notice.
“Verify updates through verified social media channels, Facebook @ApostleJohnsonSuleman, Instagram @ Johnson_Suleman_Official”.
