Former President Donald Trump has officially endorsed billionaire entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy for Ohio governor in the 2026 election.
Ramaswamy, a 39-year-old businessman and Ohio native, previously ran against Trump in the Republican presidential primaries.
Ramaswamy launched his campaign on Monday, February 24, during a rally in West Chester Township. The following day, Trump shared his support on Truth Social, describing Ramaswamy as a good person who truly loves America.
Trump also pledged his full backing for Ramaswamy, saying he believes the entrepreneur will be a great governor for Ohio.
This endorsement could strengthen Ramaswamy’s position in the race as he competes for the Republican nomination.
