Gunmen have kidnapped two Reverend fathers in Gweda Mallam, Numan Local Government Area of Adamawa State.

The victims, Reverend Father Mathew David Dusami from Yola Catholic Diocese and Reverend Father Abraham Samman from Jalingo Diocese, were abducted early on Saturday, February 22.

The Adamawa State Police Command confirmed the incident through its spokesperson, SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje. The police assured the public that efforts are underway to rescue the victims and arrest the kidnappers.

Authorities have urged people to remain calm and provide any useful information that could help in finding the kidnapped priests and bringing the criminals to justice.
