Nathan Tella might not be available for Bayer Leverkusen’s away game against Holstein Kiel.

Coach Xabi Alonso confirmed that the winger is experiencing hip discomfort after playing 85 minutes in last weekend’s 0-0 draw against Bayern Munich.

Tella picked up the issue during the match, and his condition is being monitored. Alonso stated that the team will assess his fitness before the game at Holstein-Stadion on Saturday.

“We’ll train and see how Nathan [Tella] feels. There are some doubts, but everyone else is fit to play,” Alonso told Werkself Xtra. “It’s not a serious injury, but he has some discomfort in his hip. We’ll decide based on how he feels.”

Leverkusen will hope for a positive update as they prepare for the crucial fixture.
