Jude Bellingham has named Rodrygo as the most underrated and gifted player in the Real Madrid squad. The English midfielder believes Rodrygo plays a crucial role in the team, making sacrifices that often go unnoticed.
Bellingham shared his thoughts after Real Madrid’s Champions League victory over Manchester City at the Santiago Bernabeu. When asked about Kylian Mbappe and Rodrygo, he praised both players but emphasized Rodrygo’s importance.
“Kylian is unbelievable. Everyone knows what a special player he is,” Bellingham told CBS Sports. “Rodrygo is so underrated. For me, he’s probably the most talented and most gifted player in the squad. The things he can do with a football are incredible.”
Bellingham also pointed out Rodrygo’s dedication to the team. He explained that although Rodrygo prefers playing on the left, he often plays on the right and works hard defensively without complaining.
Rodrygo has been a key player for Real Madrid since joining from Santos in 2019. The Brazilian forward has made over 250 appearances for the club, proving his value time and time again.
