The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has discovered shops in Idumota, Lagos, selling fake drugs, unregistered narcotics, and vaccines.
Shockingly, some of these illegal medicines were stored in toilets, putting public health at serious risk.
NAFDAC continues its efforts to protect Nigerians by cracking down on shops selling unsafe drugs. The agency warns people to buy medicines only from trusted pharmacies to avoid harmful effects.
Posting the video on X, the agency wrote;
‘’In the ongoing enforcement operation at the Idumota open drug market, NAFDAC has uncovered more alarming products, including unregistered narcotics, counterfeit GSK medicines, and vaccines stored in toilets.
