Prime Boy takes legal action against Mohbad’s mother, demands N50 million in damages

Owodunni Ibrahim, popularly known as Prime Boy, has filed a lawsuit against Abosede Adeyemo-Aloba, the mother of the late singer Mohbad. He claims she made false and damaging statements about him after her son’s passing.

Prime Boy, a close friend of Mohbad, shared a legal document on Instagram on February 19, showing that he has taken the matter to the Lagos High Court in Ikeja.

In the lawsuit, he is demanding N50 million in damages for what he describes as libelous and malicious statements made by Mohbad’s mother.

According to the document, the accusations were made in a video interview on March 28, 2024, and were later published by multiple news outlets. Prime Boy believes these statements were meant to harm his reputation and make the public see him in a negative light.

Back in October 2024, Prime Boy’s lawyer, Akinpelu Ogunbona, issued a statement refuting claims made by Mohbad’s mother. She had alleged that Prime Boy had an argument with her son before his passing.

Prime Boy dismissed the claims as false and harmful, stating that they have negatively impacted his reputation and the love he receives from the public.

The case is now in court, and fans are eagerly waiting to see how it unfolds.
