Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Deeone, has revealed that he deliberately used Nedu Wazobia’s podcast, Honest Bunch, to expose social media critic, VeryDarkMan.

Speaking in an interview on TVC’s Breakfast Show, Deeone admitted that he planned the entire setup without Nedu’s knowledge.

He explained that he had been observing VeryDarkMan for months and wanted to test whether he was genuine or simply manipulating Nigerians.

During his appearance on Honest Bunch, Deeone accused VeryDarkMan of being involved in same-sex relationships.

This led to a strong reaction from VeryDarkMan, who in turn accused Nedu of using his platform to take advantage of upcoming entertainers in exchange for featuring them on his show.

The controversy that followed eventually resulted in Nedu losing his job on Honest Bunch. Reflecting on the situation, Deeone expressed regret, saying he never expected it to cost Nedu his job.

“I set a trap for VeryDarkMan using Nedu as bait, but Nedu didn’t know about it,” Deeone admitted. “I feel really bad that he lost his job because of it.”

His confession has sparked mixed reactions, with some criticizing his actions while others commend him for exposing VeryDarkMan.
