In a recent operation, troops from Operation Fansan Yanma successfully neutralized a suspected arms supplier in Zamfara State.

The suspect, who was trying to escape with weapons meant for bandits, was intercepted during a nighttime operation in Nasarawa Burkullu. Security forces acted on reliable intelligence and apprehended the suspect, a known arms trafficker from Anka.

When the suspect saw the troops, he tried to flee but was quickly neutralized. Early investigations revealed that he was transporting firearms and ammunition to bandits in the area.

This operation is seen as a significant step in stopping the illegal flow of weapons to criminal groups in Zamfara.
