A 28-year-old nurse named Lucy Likeh has been reported missing by her family in Abuja, the capital of Nigeria.
Lucy, who is employed at a private firm in MKK Plaza, Jabi, Abuja, went to Zuba Park on Friday to send a package to her friend in Minna, Niger State, but did not return home.
Her family has been unable to contact her since then, as her phone is switched off.
Her brother-in-law, Shadrach Obi, shared a missing person notice on social media, confirming that Lucy’s friend in Minna received the package.
He wrote.
“My wife’s younger sister, who lives with us, is missing. She is a nurse working at a private organization in MKK Plaza, Jabi. She told my wife on Friday evening that she was going to Zuba Park after work to send a package to a friend in Minna. We haven’t seen her since, and her phone is off,” he wrote.
“It was confirmed that she reached Zuba and sent the package because the recipient has been contacted. We reported her missing at the Utako and Zuba police stations. If anyone has information, please contact me, Obi Shedrach Azuka, at 08035545578, or the nearest police station.”
Lucy was last seen wearing a black tracksuit, a black and white chiffon shirt, and a fez cap.
Confirming the situation to the Punch on Wednesday, Obi said he had reported Lucy’s disappearance to two police stations in Abuja.
Obi said,
“She is my wife’s younger sister, and she is still missing. I am currently on my way to the FCT Police Command. Although I have reported her disappearance to the local police station and the Zuba Police Station, no progress has been made. Today, I am going to the command to file a report,”
