Manchester United secured a dramatic 2-1 win over Leicester City in the FA Cup fourth round, thanks to a last-minute goal from Harry Maguire.
The Red Devils were eager to bounce back after losing 2-0 to Crystal Palace in the Premier League. However, their night started badly when De Cordova-Reid put Leicester ahead in the first half.
At halftime, United manager Ruben Amorim made a key change, taking off debutant Patrick Dorgu and bringing on Alejandro Garnacho. The substitution made an impact as Garnacho’s cross led to Joshua Zirkzee scoring an easy tap-in.
With the match heading toward extra time, Maguire rose high to head in Bruno Fernandes’ free-kick in the 93rd minute. Although he seemed to be in an offside position, the absence of VAR meant the goal stood, sealing United’s place in the next round.
Manchester United fans celebrated the thrilling comeback, while Leicester City was left disappointed by the late defeat.
