AC Milan director Geoffrey Moncada has dismissed rumors that Nigerian winger Samuel Chukwueze could leave the club.
Chukwueze was linked with a move to Fulham on the final day of the transfer window.
However, Fulham decided to sign Brazilian winger Willian instead. There were also reports that Turkish club Besiktas was interested in signing him.
Despite the speculation, Moncada made it clear that Chukwueze is staying at AC Milan. “For Chukwueze, I can say that he will stay with us. He is another option on the right, and we are happy,” Moncada told Sport Mediaset.
Chukwueze has played 19 matches for AC Milan this season, scoring two goals and providing two assists. The club believes he is an important part of the team.
