The Nollywood industry has lost another veteran as Columbus Irisoanga, popularly known as ‘Igbudu,’ has passed away.

The sad news was announced by actress and politician Hilda Dokubo through an emotional Instagram post. She expressed deep sorrow, stating that his death is a huge loss to the University of Port Harcourt, Rivers State, and the Nollywood industry.

Hilda wrote, “There can’t be a shortage of Angels in heaven that the few here are called home like this na! This one is heavy on Uniport Rivers State Nollywood.”

Columbus Irisoanga’s passing comes just days after the death of Nollywood actress Pat Ugwu, who died at the age of 35.
