Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates has shared details about his new relationship with his girlfriend, Paula Hurd. During a recent interview on the Today show, Gates, 69, expressed his happiness, saying, “I’m lucky to have a serious girlfriend named Paula. We’re having fun, going to the Olympics, and enjoying many great things together.”

Paula Hurd is a philanthropist and developer who was previously married to Mark Hurd, the former CEO of Oracle, until his passing in 2019. Gates and Hurd were first seen together in 2022 and made their relationship official in early 2023. The couple has been spotted at various events, including the Paris Olympics, Breakthrough Prize Ceremony, and Anant Ambani’s wedding.

In an interview with The Times of London, Gates opened up about his divorce from Melinda French Gates, which happened after 27 years of marriage. He called it the biggest regret of his life but mentioned that he feels happier now. He admitted that the divorce was hard for both him and Melinda, lasting at least two years.

Bill Gates also acknowledged that he made mistakes during his marriage, including having an affair with a Microsoft employee. He took responsibility for his actions but chose not to go into details, explaining that it wouldn’t be helpful to do so.

Another issue that contributed to the divorce was Bill’s past association with Jeffrey Epstein, a convicted sex offender. Melinda was strongly against his meetings with Epstein, calling him “evil personified.” Gates later admitted that his connection with Epstein was a mistake.

Despite the difficult past, Bill Gates appears to have found happiness in his new relationship with Paula Hurd, and they are enjoying life together.
