President Bola Tinubu has given a strong message to the military: end banditry and insecurity across the country by the end of 2025.

In a viral video, Minister of Defence Abubakar Badaru explained that the military is fully committed to this goal.

Minister Badaru said that the military is working hard to fight bandits and all other forms of criminality.

Even though bandits are trying to escape, he assured the public that the military will not stop until every threat is removed.

“The bandits are now on the run, but the military will not rest until we end this threat,” he stated,

adding that all security forces are working day and night to secure every part of Nigeria.

The government has already taken steps to strengthen security in trouble spots.

For example, mining activities have been suspended in Zamfara as part of efforts to restore order. The aim is to create a safer environment for everyone in the country.
