As Nigeria looks ahead to the 2027 presidential election, Primate Elijah Ayodele, the leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has shared his thoughts on the kind of candidate who can defeat President Bola Tinubu. According to him, only a determined and fearless person can stand a chance against the current president.
In a statement released by his spokesperson, Oluwatosin Osho, Primate Ayodele made it clear that the 2027 election will not be for weak or hesitant politicians. He emphasized that any candidate hoping to unseat Tinubu must be:
- Financially strong – The election will require heavy spending.
- Fearless and rugged – The person must be bold and ready for any challenge.
- Desperate to win – A laid-back attitude will not work.
- Not overly righteous – The election will involve both truth and lies, and only those who understand political strategies can survive.
- Spiritually connected – Divine guidance will be necessary for victory.
Primate Ayodele noted that Tinubu is a strong political force with great influence and resources. He stated that unless a candidate meets these tough requirements, it will be nearly impossible to defeat him.
“The 2027 election isn’t for lazy people,” Ayodele said. “Anyone who wants to win must be completely serious, determined, and willing to do whatever it takes.”
