Kwankwaso urges Kano ex-governors to unite, work together

Musa Iliyasu Kwankwaso, the Director of Finance at the Hadeja-Jama’are River Basin Development Authority, has urged former Kano State governors to set aside their differences and work together for the state’s progress.

During an interview with Kadaura24 on Wednesday, he emphasized the importance of unity among Rabiu Kwankwaso, Abdullahi Ganduje, Ibrahim Shekarau, and Kabiru Gaya. He believes that their cooperation will bring positive change to Kano and make the people proud.

Kwankwaso expressed concern over the cancellation of important projects by new administrations, simply because they were initiated by previous governments. He stressed that any project designed to benefit the people should not be stopped due to political disagreements.

“We want former governors to unite in making decisions that improve people’s lives,” he said. “They should acknowledge that projects meant for public good should continue, regardless of political differences.”

He pointed out that all the former governors are now over 65 years old, making it the perfect time for them to come together and focus on Kano’s development. According to him, fostering peace and cooperation among these leaders will help the state move forward.

Kwankwaso’s call for unity highlights the need for leaders to prioritize the welfare of the people over political conflicts. If these past governors can work together, Kano State could experience greater progress and stability.
