A tragic story has emerged involving a gospel singer, Timileyin Ajayi, who has admitted to killing his girlfriend, Salome Eleojo Adaidu, after accusing her of cheating throughout their one-year relationship.

Salome, a 24-year-old former National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) member, worked at Nicon Insurance in Abuja. She was killed during a visit to Timileyin’s home in the New Karshi area of Karu Local Government, Nasarawa State.

According to reports, the incident occurred on Sunday, January 12. Timileyin was arrested while attempting to dispose of Salome’s severed head after dismembering her body. The police also recovered the knife and machete he used in the attack.

During a press briefing, Timileyin confessed to the crime but claimed that he did not plan to kill her. He expressed no regret for his actions, stating that her alleged infidelity was the cause of his anger.

This shocking incident has sparked widespread outrage and brought attention to the dangers of unresolved conflicts and relationship violence.

“I k!lled her because we don’t have each other all the time, it’s not something I planned. It happened on that day and it happened. Not that I have the plan in mind, she was cheating. She hides most of the things from me most times. I got to know from her phone. I saw her chats with other guys on the phone, that was why I decided,” he said.

He said he has no regrets for his action

“I don’t have any regrets because life is reciprocal that is what I thought, if you must do something to someone, you have to be reciprocal with that person. You have to understand what that person is going through so that you can actually put yourself in the position that the person is going through, that is why I don’t have any regrets because we were actually compatible.”
