Cristiano Ronaldo on the brink of signing a whopping £3M-A-WEEK contract extension at Al-Nassr’

Cristiano Ronaldo is on the verge of signing a new contract extension with Al-Nassr, the Saudi Pro League club. The new deal is reported to be worth over £167.9 million (€200 million), which will keep him at the club for even longer.

The 39-year-old football star joined Al-Nassr in January 2023 after leaving Manchester United. His current contract pays him around £164 million per season for playing football, with an additional £49 million coming from his business ventures off the field.

According to Saudi news outlet Al Khabar, Ronaldo is ready to extend his stay in Saudi Arabia. His current contract, which is set to expire at the end of the season, will soon be extended. If the deal is confirmed, Ronaldo will earn a staggering £3.19 million (€3.8 million) every week, or about £419,800 (€500,000) per day. This will make him the highest-paid footballer in the world.

Ronaldo has played 84 games for Al-Nassr so far, scoring 75 goals. However, he has only won one trophy with the club, the 2023 Arab Club Championship, and missed out on two other title chances to rival teams Al-Ittihad and Al-Hilal.
