Portable Calls Out Verydarkman Over Missing ₦180m NGO Money

Nigerian singer Portable has stirred a major controversy by accusing activist Martins Vincent Otse, also known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), of misusing ₦180 million meant for an NGO. The money, donated by wealthy individuals to support orphans, is now at the center of a heated debate.

The issue began when VDM announced that hackers had stolen ₦180 million from his NGO’s account, leaving only ₦20 million. Portable, however, didn’t buy the story. Known for his outspoken nature, he took to social media to vent his frustrations, even challenging VDM to a public wrestling match.

In a video shared on X (formerly Twitter), Portable didn’t hold back:
“If you don’t return the stolen NGO money, don’t come to Lagos or Abuja. We’ll fight you. Rich men contributed ₦180 million for orphans, and you spent it. A thief is a thief!”

Portable also claimed that VDM used the funds for personal enjoyment:
“You say you’re fighting for Nigerians, but it’s all for yourself. I’ve never received ₦100 million, yet I use my money to provide rice, noodles, and fix roads in my community. Meanwhile, you spent the NGO funds in clubs!”

The singer’s accusations have caused an uproar online, with Nigerians taking to social media to express their opinions. While some support Portable’s bold stance, others are waiting for VDM to respond to the allegations.

This dispute comes after VDM’s initial claims of being hacked, but Portable’s public outburst has added fuel to the fire. As the drama unfolds, many are questioning the management of funds meant for charitable causes.

Stay tuned for updates as this controversy develops.
