Israeli airstrikes on Gaza in the early hours of Thursday left at least 10 people dead, including five journalists, and over a dozen others injured, according to medics from Gaza’s health authorities.
The strikes targeted various locations, including a house in Gaza City’s Zeitoun neighborhood. Medics confirmed that five people lost their lives in this attack, while 20 others sustained injuries.
Authorities have warned that the number of casualties might rise as rescue teams continue efforts to save those trapped under the rubble of destroyed buildings.
In another tragic incident, five journalists were killed when their vehicle was struck near Al-Awda hospital in Nuseirat, located in central Gaza.
The escalation highlights the growing toll on civilians and journalists caught in the conflict, raising concerns about safety and humanitarian crises in the region.
