A tragic incident has claimed the life of a police officer, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Abba Danmallam, in Abuja.

DSP Danmallam, a dedicated officer of the Nigeria Police Force, had served in the Katsina Command and Lagos before his recent transfer to Abuja. Sadly, his life was cut short by gunmen who reportedly followed and shot him beside his car.

The shocking incident came to light on Sunday, December 22, 2024, when journalist Sadiq Lanre Ishaq shared a short video captured by an eyewitness. The video showed the officer’s identification documents, confirming his rank as a three-star officer and his active duty status.
