Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka will be out of action for several weeks after picking up a hamstring injury during Arsenal’s 5-1 victory over Crystal Palace.
Manager Mikel Arteta confirmed the news during a press conference on Monday, saying, “It’s not looking good. He’ll be out for many weeks.” This announcement came after Saka was seen leaving Selhurst Park on crutches, dampening Arsenal’s strong performance.
Saka has been a standout player for Arsenal this season, contributing five goals and ten assists in the Premier League. His absence will undoubtedly be a challenge for the team as they continue their campaign.
Arteta, however, remains optimistic and is already working on plans to handle the situation. He said, “We’ve faced tough times before, like when Martin Odegaard was out or when several defenders were unavailable. We’ll approach this with a positive mindset and adapt accordingly.”
Saka’s injury is a significant loss for Arsenal, but the team is determined to overcome the setback and maintain their momentum.
