The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has addressed and dismissed rumors claiming that Senator Samuel Nnaemeka Anyanwu has been removed from his position as the party’s National Secretary.

A false report suggested that an Appeal Court in Enugu State had sacked Senator Anyanwu. The PDP has labeled this report as fake and a deliberate attempt by desperate politicians to create confusion. According to the party, Senator Anyanwu will continue serving as the National Secretary until December 2025.

The PDP stated that a valid court ruling protects Senator Anyanwu’s position, making it impossible for anyone to legally challenge or lay claim to it.

The party accused certain politicians, allegedly associated with the APC, of working to destabilize the PDP. The party remains confident that these attempts to divide the organization will fail.

The PDP urged the public to ignore these baseless rumors, describing them as unfounded and ineffective.
