The Nigerian government is giving citizens a special gift this holiday season: free train rides! From December 20, 2024, to January 5, 2025, Nigerians can travel for free on all train routes where services are currently available.

This announcement was made by Mohammed Idris, the Minister of Information and National Orientation, during a press briefing following the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting.
