Karen Julieth Ojeda Rodriguez, a 23-year-old woman known as “La Muñeca” or “The Doll,” has been arrested by Colombian authorities. She is believed to be responsible for several murders, including the recent killing of her ex-boyfriend, Deyvy Jesus.

According to police in the Magdalena Medio region, Rodriguez planned and carried out the murder of Deyvy on July 23 in Piedecuesta. She convinced him to meet under the pretense of discussing a financial matter, but once there, he was ambushed by two gunmen and fatally shot. Authorities say the hit was carried out on orders from the violent gang Los de la M, with whom Rodriguez is suspected of being affiliated.

Rodriguez was arrested along with two accomplices, Paula Valentina Joya Rueda, 24, also known as “Gorda Sicaria” (Fat Hitwoman), and an individual only identified as “Leopoldo.” The police seized a revolver and a 9mm pistol during the arrests and are currently investigating if these weapons were used in the murders.

Lieutenant Colonel Mauricio Herrera of the Magdalena Medio Police described the arrest as a major success in the battle against organized crime. He added that Rodriguez’s arrest would bring much-needed calm to the region, marking progress in dismantling the criminal gangs responsible for recent violence.
