FCT: Wike Promises Ongoing Support for the Judiciary

Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), has restated his dedication to strengthening Nigeria’s judiciary. Speaking at the launch of the design and construction of the Body of Benchers’ office annexe in Abuja, Wike highlighted the need for cooperation between the judiciary, executive, and legislative arms of government.

The minister revealed that funds for the office complex are already included in the FCT’s supplementary budget, ensuring the project’s smooth implementation. He expressed appreciation to President Bola Tinubu for his consistent support of the FCT Administration.

Wike also addressed a request for a fire service station within the Body of Benchers complex. He pledged to include it in the FCT’s 2025 budget, assuring stakeholders of timely delivery.

“You can be certain that by 2025, a fire service station will be established within this complex,” Wike said. “I am committed to making the Body of Benchers proud by showcasing exceptional governance.”

Wike’s promises demonstrate his commitment to improving infrastructure and governance in the FCT, ensuring the judiciary receives the support it needs to function effectively.
