A survivor shared a harrowing account of the incident, stating that over 50 people were abducted near Sabon Layi and another 50 near Dagon Hayi. The bandits chased their victims on motorbikes, and some were even caught while running for safety.
The attackers didn’t just abduct people; they also stole motorcycles, food, and phones from the communities they targeted, including Gira, Ruwa Kusa, Dogon Hayi, and Gidan Kado. Despite notifying local officials, no response has been seen, and authorities have not yet addressed the crisis.
