Abraham Amah Elected As Abia State PDP Chairman

Abraham Amah has stepped up as the new State Chairman for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Abia State. Previously, Amah served as the Vice Chairman for Abia North and also acted as the State Publicity Secretary. In the recent election, he secured a commanding 1,264 votes, comfortably defeating his closest rival, Olugu Kalu, who received 395 votes.

Amah, hailing from Ihechiowa in Arochukwu local government area, is known for his critical stance against the current Labour Party-led government in Abia. Despite pressures to leave, he has stayed with PDP, showing strong dedication to his party and its goals.

In addition to Amah’s win, other key PDP leaders were elected for different zones. Onwuka Kalu will lead Abia Central, Enyinnaya Appolos is now in charge of Abia South, and Abia Elendu Kalu Elendu will oversee Abia North.

These elections mark a new chapter for the PDP in Abia State, as the party looks to reinforce its influence and leadership in the region. With Abraham Amah at the helm, the PDP aims to bring fresh perspectives and strengthen its position in Abia politics.
