Kubra Aykut, a popular TikTok influencer, has sadly passed away at the young age of 26. She fell from the fifth floor of a luxury apartment building in Istanbul, Turkey. Kubra became famous for her creative videos, especially one titled “Wedding without a Groom,” where she staged a wedding for herself.

Last Monday, Kubra was found dead in the Sultanbeyli district. Reports indicate that a suicide note was discovered at the scene. In the days leading up to her death, she had expressed concerns about her health, sharing troubling posts about her weight loss. She mentioned losing a kilogram every day and feeling desperate to gain weight.

The incident occurred at her apartment on Gişe Street in the upscale Hasanpaşa neighborhood. Police have launched an investigation, and her body has been sent for a post-mortem examination.

Afterward, her body was returned to her hometown of Bursa for burial. Many friends and family members attended the funeral, including fellow influencer Dilan Polat and Enes Çetinkaya, who is believed to have been her long-term partner.

In her final video, shared shortly before her death, Kubra was seen cleaning her apartment. Her rise to fame on TikTok began in 2023 when she held a lavish wedding ceremony for herself, wearing a stunning white dress and tiara. She celebrated her independence by driving off in a car decorated with flowers, holding her bouquet out the window and joyfully shouting.

Kubra’s tragic death has left her friends and fans heartbroken, highlighting the importance of mental health awareness in the influencer community and beyond.
