Yul Edochie has expressed goodwill toward his estranged wife, May Edochie, amid their ongoing and highly publicised divorce proceedings, stating that he wishes her “nothing but the best in life.”
Speaking during an appearance on The Honest Bunch Podcast, the Nollywood actor declined to disclose whether he informed May before marrying his second wife, Judy Austin, maintaining that he would not discuss private marital matters in public.
“What matters is that I wish her well and want her to prosper. That is the mother of my children,” Edochie said.
The actor acknowledged that his marriage faced significant challenges but insisted he would not publicly reveal details surrounding the breakdown of the union, describing himself as “too much of a man” to do so.
Edochie sparked widespread controversy in 2022 after unveiling Austin as his second wife during a turbulent period in his marriage to May.
The estranged couple are currently in court over the dissolution of their marriage, while Edochie and Austin have since welcomed three children together.
