Presidential spokesperson Bayo Onanuga has said that Bola Ahmed Tinubu is delivering a sweeping transformation agenda that is reshaping Nigeria and restoring national pride.
Onanuga made the remarks while briefing journalists ahead of a scheduled nationwide tour of key project sites aimed at verifying and showcasing the administration’s achievements to date.
He explained that the projects span all states of the federation and cut across critical sectors, including infrastructure, human capital development, and economic growth.
“The purpose of this tour is to comprehensively showcase what the administration has accomplished so far and to demonstrate its seriousness and commitment to transforming the entire country,” Onanuga said, alongside other presidential media aides. “These projects span all sectors of the economy and every state in the federation.”
He added that the initiative would provide Nigerians with direct insight into the administration’s performance. “Once these projects are presented, it will be clear that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has not only transformed Nigeria but has also renewed hope among citizens,” he said.
In a related development, Senior Special Assistant on Media to the President, Tunde Rahman, disclosed that the media would soon begin a coordinated review of government initiatives across the country, aimed at highlighting efforts to revitalize the economy and improve citizens’ welfare.
At the briefing, senior officials from the Ministries of Health, Transportation, and Information outlined progress recorded under the current administration, noting a strategic realignment of policies to better meet the needs of Nigerians.
Speaking on the health sector, Nasiru Mohammed highlighted the Presidential Initiative to unlock the sector, which has enabled local pharmaceutical manufacturing and reduced the cost of essential medicines. He also noted that the initiative, backed by a recent executive order, is attracting increased interest from multinational investors.
Meanwhile, an official of the Ministry of Information, Rabiu Musa, pointed to the establishment of the National Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) as a landmark policy intervention. The scheme, he said, has expanded access to financing for students, making higher education more attainable.
Officials described the initiative as a historic step in Nigeria’s education sector, underscoring the administration’s broader commitment to inclusive development and long-term national growth.
