Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has declared that he is willing to give his life in defense of his country.

He made this known in a message shared on his official X account.

In the post, he said millions of Iranians have already shown their readiness to defend the nation, adding that he has always been committed and remains prepared to make the ultimate sacrifice for Iran.

His statement came just hours before a deadline issued by former United States President Donald Trump, who asked Iran to reach an agreement before the end of Tuesday.

Trump warned that serious consequences could follow if no deal is reached, saying the ongoing conflict could lead to massive destruction.
