Emmanuel Obasi, the ex‑husband of Nollywood actress Judy Austin, has resurfaced an old message he sent to actor Yul Edochie in 2022. Obasi claims the message was a serious warning not to let a woman bring Yul down.

In the message, Obasi referenced a biblical story to make his point. He wrote that just as Joseph of Arimathea helped Jesus carry the cross and was blessed, he had warned Yul not to let his relationship with Judy ruin him.

Obasi says Yul ignored the warning and “allowed himself to be caged,” suggesting that Yul’s decision to be with Judy has harmed him.
