NPFL approves new venue for Plateau United vs Ikorodu City

Plateau United have revealed that their Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) match against Ikorodu City, scheduled for matchday 33, will now take place at Lafia City Stadium, according to DAILY POST.

The club explained that the relocation to Lafia was necessary because of recent security concerns in Jos.

Coach Gbenga Ogunbote’s team will face the Oga Boys next Monday, with kickoff set for 4 p.m.

The team is expected to return to their usual home ground, the New Jos Stadium, for their following league match.

Plateau United currently sit in ninth place on the NPFL table, having earned 43 points from 32 matches.

Ikorodu City, who are aiming for their first NPFL title, are in third place with 52 points from the same number of games.
