Nyesom Wike has declared that the crisis within the Peoples Democratic Party has come to an end. He made this known during a media briefing in Abuja, calling for unity among members.
Wike described politics as a game rather than a battle, urging politicians to drop grudges. He said the party must now focus on rebuilding and moving forward after internal disagreements.
The former Rivers State governor announced that the PDP doors are open to former members who wish to return. According to him, several politicians have already shown interest in rejoining the party.
He emphasized that the party’s recent convention should be seen as a turning point. Wike noted that the time for disputes is over and reconciliation should take priority.
The minister also warned that political success requires visibility and hard work. He advised aspirants not to remain inactive if they hope to be relevant in future elections.
He concluded by expressing optimism about the party’s future. According to him, unity and cooperation will strengthen the PDP ahead of upcoming political contests.
