Tensions in the Middle East have increased as Iran launched missiles and drones toward several Gulf countries. The attacks reportedly targeted areas including the United Arab Emirates and other neighboring states.
According to officials, the UAE’s air defense systems responded quickly. Reports say about 19 ballistic missiles and 26 drones were intercepted before causing major damage.
In Kuwait, the military confirmed that at least 13 drones and two cruise missiles were dealt with within a 24-hour period. Authorities said their defense systems remained fully active.
Bahrain also reported continued attacks but noted strong defensive success. Since the conflict began, the country said it has intercepted hundreds of drones and missiles.
Meanwhile, Qatar confirmed that multiple drones were launched in its direction. Officials stated that all incoming threats were successfully neutralized without casualties.
The ongoing situation highlights rising security concerns in the region. Experts warn that continued attacks could lead to wider conflict if tensions are not reduced soon.
